I went this Saturday to the new Jefferson Circuit configuration at Summit Point Raceway in WV. This was my first time at the track - ever - and it was SO AWESOME!

I get why people say it's addicting now. I had 4x 30 minute sessions, and each was a learning experience in and of itself. It was truly a great time, and I can't wait to head out to VIR in November with Track Daze. The instructor, Frank, was top notch and a P-car owner as well.

Here's the vid. where you can catch a lot of my rookie mistakes -- like depending too much on braking with the transmission (big nono from Frank after that session) and not having the right spot to mount the GoPro at the back of the Cabin...need to figure that one out, too much glare from the outside.

Looks like great fun! Was it raining? I just had my first HPDE at Portland International Raceway and it was a blast. Started out raining, but dried up for the afternoon - what a great experience. Took me forever to get those darned rubber bits off the car LOL. But thanks to another member here, I got the right product to get it off.
