Oil pressure high?

I have a 997 with around 10,000 miles. Today I noticed that my oil pressure gauge was pretty much at 5 (the highest level possible) the entire time I was driving. When I slowed a bit it was still at 4 / 4.5. At idle it was around 3. Is this normal? Maybe I just never noticed, but it didnb't seem normal. Thanks in advance.

A trip to the dealership wouldn't hurt anything and it might give you peace of mind. Maybe others will share their experiences with oil pressure.

That is what I remember, too. Sounds normal.

p.s. make sure to check your oil level regularly. The 997 does burn some oil.

Yes, me too stays at 5 for awhile and only comes down a little after 30 minutes of driving about.
I have almost 1000 miles, and am monitoring the oil consumption.
I am ready to zzooommm, but I have another 1000 miles til break in is complete....I must go dog go!!!!!
