I am finally here. New member, new to Porsche saying hi.
Thank you guys. Thank you so much. This thing gets better and better every day. Today accidentally got a chirp out of the rear in first, got a little scared, not sure if AWD can handle the strain
Already looking in to intake upgrades and then cats, followed by ECU.
Got my eye on those clear corners, 50 bucks? thats it? Love it!
Need to get LED driving and rear lights as well.
Would like to soften the ride to be around PASM in normal mode. Too many bumps and potholes around me. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Perhaps Bilstein B6?
Already lined up winter rims and tires. Friend that owns a high end body shop selling me a set of his 18 inch retro rims.
Looking in to getting Fidelity for 2 years, not sure if i should waste cash.
And with all of that going on in just the first week, i'm sad to say that i am already thinking of my next car. Considering i average a new one every 2 years
itll be here before you know it.
I think my next ride will be a 991 4S

Congrats on your car. Please take what I am going to tell you as help from someone who has owned 40 Porsche's (all modified) has over 40 patients for car systems and has been doing mods to cars longer than a lot of people on here have been alive. First after market shocks and coil overs are never going to make the ride softer and the car less focused they do the opposite as I told you earlier. No one is going to pay 5k installed to have a Porsche ride like a Lexus. If you are going to put a turbo kit or a supercharger (which by the way is the only way you're going to get any real gains) on the car do not waste your money on air boxes and tuning since you will not be able to use those things if you go that route. If you want to softer ride the only way you are going to get it is smaller wheels and tires that designed for passenger cars. This will adversely effect (the tires cause this) the handling but depending on how you drive you may not notice it. In the end you bought a Porsche it was designed to give the driver feedback and to handle a certain way and the suspension is a big part of that so there is very little you can do to alter those characteristics. I hope you will learn to enjoy that since that is truly the essence ofwhat the car is all about. Good luck to you.
Mr Price. Thank you for the feedback, it is greatly appreciated.
I am not as good of a driver to be able to take full advantage of what the car has to offer. Maybe someday.
I also understand that I would be losing what the car was engineered to do but carrera with PASM has the perfect feel for me. So perhaps I'll just look in to getting one.
Thank you for the info.
