Value of your 997

Hi everyone, New to the post. I just bought a 2008 997 and I am in love. Hadn't had a turbo since 1987 when I had the 930. I sold that, but please don't remind me!

Anyway, I did a lot of research on what the going price is and found a real neat correlation between mileage and pricing. I am attaching a chart of every turbo listed in the USA for sale and the associated mileage.

Looks like price goes down at about .40/mile

Hope it is useful.

Very interesting as I am in the market for an 07/08 997 Turbo.

Very interesting. In the Bay Area (CA) the 07/08 turbo's are in the same price range as a clean 2011S with relatively low miles. I ended up buying the 2011S instead of the turbo.

More interested in the non-turbo ones since this is the non-turbo section of the 997.

Very interesting! Are these listing prices or kbb/nada prices adjusted with change in mileage listed? Dealership listing prices can definitely be all over the board (for various reasons). I also believe model year is quite important too (for newer cars those with more warranty left etc). I also think there is a point at which it flattens out and will not continue to dip (due to the nature of the car being a Porsche/turbo model). I don't know the turbo market that well but looking at "S" and "4s" there was definitely a range of prices and more importantly great room to move on those prices.

Cool plot - may I ask how you were able to come up with 'every turbo listed in the USA' database?

value of 997

I used all the turbos listed in autotrader and a few other internet car posts. It may not be every turbo, but I am sure I captured most of them
