What Did You Do With Your 997 Today?

I didn't find this topic on the 997, so let's start one!

Here's some examples but anything goes, new mod(s), leaving another car in the dust, canyon cruise, picked up a hottie, out to dinner, any milestones, any memorable moments etc.

Drove it to the BART. In about 2 hours, I will drive it home.

Then tomorrow, she gets an early 20k service. Only 17.5 on the clock now, but since I have no REAL idea how the PO or the dealers that have used and shown this car took care of her, I am getting her a little early spa treatment.

I took mine to a client lunch today (coney islands)... got home, power washed the salt/grit off it, then took the car to see American sniper followed by some bar hopping for college night!

Prepping for exhaust removal tomorrow night to wrap headers/exhaust with
heat wrap.

Not today……. But this Friday. Planning on driving from L.A. to Northern Cal. to visit my son at UCDavis for the weekend. I guess it would be about an 800+ round trip. Now I’m having second thoughts. The I-5 can be a pig of a highway with 16 wheelers, fog and CHP……… or should I just fly up, which takes all of an hour?

I'd normally say drive just for the fun of it, but rain is in the forecast from tomorrow (Thursday) through Sunday which might make the occasionally hellish Bay Area/Sacramento traff*ck even worse. If your son has a car, Sacto airport is pretty close to UC Davis. Be sure to dine @ Sudwerk! Good pub food, excellent beer.
