Time to Go

Hi all!
I have a '06 4S with 70K miles. 1 year after I had it I was hit on R side. It needed to have r front fender and door replaced. I had it done at a Porsche approved shop and was done perfectly. Dumb me never took pictures during repair. No structural damage or airbag deployment. Never have had any issues or problems since repair and it looks as new. It shows on car fax. The car is dealer maintained with all records. It's a beautiful car but would like to upgrade to a '12 GTS. BLACK ON BLACK COUPE with lots of upgrades.
Can anyone help me with amount to deduct for accident? I know there needs to be a discount for accident but unsure how to determine. Thanks for your help. Tried a search but nothing comes up.

Unsure of the amount to deduct, but could you call your insurance company and see if they have any pictures available that they would let you scan? Not sure if they keep those on file or not.

Use the autobody repair bill also to show the extent of the damage.
If it was me I would just put a fair market price on the car, inform any buyers of damage and let them make any deductions they feel is fair and you can work from there.

List it at fair market value as if there was no accident. Be honest about the car. Show the Carfax report to the customer if they ask to see it. Don't lie if they ask if it has been in an accident. And allow the buyer to schedule a PPI. Let the buyer decide what discount he wants based on the facts he uncovers - no need for you to do it.

I wouldn't put the accident in the description of the car, but instead, list a free carfax report. Any good buyer will ask. If done correctly, and with those miles, I don't see a lot to deduct sight unseen.of coarse as sellers, we will advise on the damages.

Have you asked Scottsdale for a trade valuation? the body shop likely still has a file on your car, potentially with pictures. ??

I agree. Pictures alone would not satisfy me as a buyer. I would want to see the repair receipt from the body shop that lists the parts and labor items involved in the repair. And I would check to see if the body shop was Porsche certified. My concern would be that a non-certified shop would not have the tools or procedures to check for Porsche frame or suspension damage, or if the shop is even qualified to work on aluminum body parts (Porsche shops are aluminum certified and have the appropriate rack to work on frame issues.
