07 997.1 Fog Lights

After hitting a turkey at 70mph and, among other damage, my right side fog light is no longer working (bulb is out).

What are the new options that aren't covered in the 100 pages of search that I just went through? anything?

Options as I see them:

Replace with stock bulb
Replace with something like the Sylvania bulb
Upgrade to LED bulb
Upgrade the whole housing to LED

Car is halogen and not Bi-xenon / HID

i would replace with an oem bulb (grab the bulb from the other fog light) to make sure your fog housing is still operational... then you have tons of different bulb optinos.

if your fog housing has been damaged i would try ebay for low cost working replacement.

It's a matter of personal preference. The cheap route is to just replace the bulb with OEM, or a matched L/R pair from a local auto parts store.

If going to LED, look into replacing the entire fog light assemblies and search for the diode mod to turn the fogs into DRL's.

There wasn't much left of it - aside from what came out of the radiator. A few dents on the hood and quarter and I have to replace the clear bra now...

I'm protesting the turkey by eating it every night this week.

I couldn't find an LED solution for the fogs. The running lights, yes, but not the fogs. I did a yellow HID replacement for my fogs. Looks pretty cool and really cuts glare on rainy nights.
