YEAR LATER UPDATE- JC CUTOMZ IN CA PAINT JOB WAS CRACKING WITHIN A COUPLE OF MONTHS, THE REAR SPOILER I GOT BACK FROM THEM WITH PAINT DRIP ALL AROUND AND EVENTUALLY THOSE AREAS CRACKED! WHEN ASKED TO HELP OUT THEY SAID TOO BUSY- DO NOT USE JC CUTOMZ FOR YOUR PORSCHE WORK I CAN'T RECOMMEND THEM!

So i've been working on my 997 i bought in september, after wrecking my last exact car in 2013 (but last one was a Launch edition) The departed one was also nicely modded with Aero front + misha rear (with side opening for exhaust) and gt3 aero wing. This time i decided to go with the Gt3 rear with center exhaust- THIS WAS A BIG MISTAKE - I bought the rear misha Gt3 bumper and center exhaust from a member here, the work on the exhaust was great but it sounded like SH I T in my opinion & my ears with those magnaflow mufflers - i hated my car for the few days i had it on and MISSED MY FISTER D so much- I felt like my car wasn't a 911 anymore lol...Anyways i just sold this rear bumper + center exhaust already and put my fisters back on with original oem bumper and ordered a rear GT3 bumper with side exhaust openings from Misha so i can keep my fister, should have it from misha in a couple of weeks- So this car will be the exact same as my last one minus the Aero wing, this time i have Misha wing.


Here are some pics - the rear looked great with center, i'll miss the look, but not the sound.

 

Im doing the Aero front bumper on my car this week. Did you put screens in or did you leave the holes open?

 

Holes are open and even middle hole is open, the "mouth" so i need to put the plastic piece from my original bumper in there and on the openings below the fog lights i'll put mesh.

Ps: if your doing front Aero i suggest also doing GT3 rear because it will look off balanced and also the Side Skirts really bring it all together

 

why make a long winded post ? Everyone knows every brand muffler makes different sound. Very nice car but those side skirts make me think of something that should be on a honda

 

I ordered the Aero bumper but im not a fan of the side skirts. I may do the GT3TEK rear bumper. Was thinking of the duck tail as well. Mine is a cab so not trying to look like a gt3 or 2 at all.

 

If you dont like the long winded detailed post dont read it- as for the side skirts, i'm far from someone who would put something that makes a car look like a Honda- in person those side skirts complete the look of the car.

 

i'll post a vid when i'm done with the car, as i mentioned in the first LONG post , i didn't like exhaust sound so sold this rear bumper and went with a 2 opening one to put my fisters back on. should be done soon
