it is a package thing. the GT3 will always be lowered (fresh from factory) thurs the car will look better & more aggressive. the regular car with aerokit but still maintain stock height will always look off. the 996 areokit front lip is slightly different from the GT3 and not as aggressive looking. small things make big difference, only if u could notice them. so far the 997 GT3 spy pics we've seen have slightly different aero parts than the 997 aerokit. guess we'll just wait & see. regardless the aerokit of 997 looks very empty on the side. notice how low the front bumper is compare to the side & rear. my point is the lines don't look very ''balanced'' now.

Hum ok you have a point but wouldn't a lowered 997 CS will almost be the same as the GT3 then? I kinda like the wing, it reminds me of my dad's old car. I think when u talk about the front lip, u are refering to the new second gen 996 gt3 not the first gen. My dad's ex porsche (at least to me) look every bit like a GT3 in real life except for the badge of course. Here is a pic (first porsche for our family at that time.)

The wing looks pretty bad. With a cleaner wing similar to the GT3 the car would look very nice.

I am surprised most people think the wing is big. lets all be honest and admit the GT3/996 Aero kit wing was not that bland.

Personally i hate stock cars, so i am already picturing the 997 Aero lowered with some nice wheels since the stock ones suck.

Hummm, i can't really see it other than the wide body, blacked out rims, side skirt, slight rear diffuser (actually the whole rear bumper), middle exhaust outlet, CGT seats, PCCB brakes, same front bumper but there is an air inlet on the side, most likely different rims+tires and lowered. Of course i see it all now it is so noticeable but in the previous testing stage maybe it was a regular 997 with aerokit and everyone thought that was the GT3 with the BBS mag rims so maybe there is really hard to tell the difference. But in this pic the difference is very noticeable and very aggressive. THIS is by FAR the best looking GT3 i have seen hehe. Do you think you will get one since i see you changing cars so much from all your post hehe..?

like i said, the difference is in the details. the wheel offset plays a important role as well.

This picture has got, what looks like, the new side skirts that are a new option. Saw it in the 997 C4S configurator.
