We have a great amount of DIY Tech Articles that could be of some help with any future work on the car. We also have a great amount of parts available, OE and Performance, that can be found here. Hope you enjoy the new car!

Congrats. The car looks great.
I also recently acquired a stock 997.2 Carrera and made the following changes (the most significant and rewarding being the TechArt springs and upgraded sway bars). I got just the right amount of lowering and better handling all round for my needs. My review thread here:

SharkWerks Bypass
TechArt Springs
Blistein B6 Shocks
TPC Rear SwayBar
GT3 Font SwayBar
Tarret Drop Links
ECS Spacers

weissmanjs is infamous around these parts
EMC2 - Beautiful car and excellent write up! I love the aggressive stance with the springs.
For daily driving, do you find potholes, speed bumps, or drive ways to be a problem? Also, did you look at a coil-over setup? If so, is there a reason you went with the fixed height option? Again, great work...car looks awesome.

Thanks Weissmanjs

Fortunately the roads around here a pretty smooth and free of potholes so no issues there. I do have quite a steep driveway so have to enter slowly at the correct angle to avoid scraping. There is no issue going over speed bumps, but I can see why those with GT3 or Turbo front bumpers would need to be a lot more careful. Describing ride feel is definitely very subjective, but if great and very direct feedback as well as a firm ride are what you're looking for - this is it imho!

On a side note, prior to installing the springs I was seriously considering changing to one of these front bumpers because I felt the standard bumper didn't look aggressive enough. Now that the car is lowered, I no longer feel the need to change the bumper. It just seems to look better overall.

I also thought a lot about going the coilover route, as I did with the Cayenne, which I dropped by 2 inches. I know it sounds like a lot but if you look at the pics you will see it was not at all aggressive for the 21" Sport Design wheels.

However as I was only looking for a modest drop on the 911, and because of the amount of positive reviews out there, I felt it was a good and safe bet to go with the TechArt springs and Bilstein shocks.
