Alternator to starter cable Again

2005 997. Battery voltage was not going above 13.05 volts with engine running above 2K RPM. Had the alternator to starter cable replaced and now I get 13.85 volts. So I know that the battery is definitely being charged when I drive the car. Hergesheimer Motor Sport in Orange County,CA
was nice to work with.

Parts and Labor was "hair over" $1K. BTW, learned that
the alternator charging voltage varies with temperature!
Measured voltage at battery with cold engine running above 2k RPM and measured 14.20 volts. So, am happy.
