anyone with fabspeed muffler bypass pipes on their 997 tt

just ordered a set of fabspeed muffler bypass pipes. I have an evoms 720/750 kit installed with club sport headers, 200 cell hi flo cats and maxflo mufflers... just doesn't give me the exotic exhaust sound I am looking for. After doing some research I get the feeling there is a loud drone inside the car... any 1st hand experience on this forum. Thanks

Funny you ask, a month ago we purchased a 2007 Carrera for my wife with the Fabspeed bypass pipes installed. Luckily the original owner had the stock mufflers and gave them to us when we left with the car. Just today I removed the bypass pipes and installed the original mufflers. It was just TOO LOUD, it does drone a little also. My wife goes to work very early in the mornings and she was terrified to give it any throttle for fear of waking up all the neighbors. Mind you we have an M3 and an M5 here both with Borla cat back exhaust so we do like a good sound but that was overboard. Anyone interested in the pipes PM me.

I just sold my 2007. It still had the muffler bypass pipes on.
