997S, H&R springs, 5mm spacer front, 15mm spacers rear, not lobster forks- but same sizes, 235 front, 295 rear. PERFECT, no rubbing.

Car looks good would it rub with 305's? Also what spacers are you on?

I am on ECS Tuning spacers. Love them, I used ECS spacers on my M3 prior. They are model specific hub centric, so perfect fit, no vibration and you can order as a set with extended lug bolts.

As for running 305's, can't speak from personal experience, if on oem rear wheel specs (19x11, et 67), there should be room for 305's w. a max 15mm spacer. Anything beyond this, and you will most likely rub.

I personally think that running 305's in the rear, while running 235's in the front is too much discrepancy visually and performance-wise (understeer). If you do, run 245's in the front.

Would 245 work up front? I was thinking to do 305 with 245 but don't know if I would have problems in the wheel well turning and what not

thanks for replying for me so that I didn't have to go digging myself

yes, I was running H&R with 10mm front and 15mm rear spacers from ECS in that picture. I later switched to AG M510 in Dolphin Grey which were better fit and did NOT require the use of the spacers and therefore I sold them.

If you'd like more pics, OP, PM me.. I have plenty.

EDIT- fwiw, those are factory Lobster's which I had Plasti Dipped in Anthracite Gray Metallic.

I'd suggest you wait and decide on rims after you lower. For sure you will need spacers however - you can always sell them later if your new rims don't require them. Cosmetically, lowering transforms the car IMO. I look at old pictures of mine now and cannot believe how high it sat...
very nice!

I purchased my car a few weeks ago and before taking delivery I came to this thread. The day of taking possession I ordered the H&R springs and 5mm and 15mm spacers, as well as f/r Depo/Dectane LEDs. Couldn't be happier.

Not really what you are looking for, however, here is mine lowered with Eibach's for a comparison.

There are different model Eibach from what I remember, which one are these? It looks like your car does not sit as low as other members' using H&R, which is a good thing in my opinion.

Eibach has two options for our cars:

1.) Pro-Kit (Not as low as H&R)
2.) Sportline (Same lowering as H&R)

I use the Eibach Pro-Kit. It works well with PASM and still feels like factory ride... not harsh.
