Hello all. I have a pcm3 with Bluetooth and phone module.

I connected my Samsung phone with no issues but my iPhone will not connect.

PCM cannot find it. If I connect from the iPhone the connection fails.

I noticed when I did the Samsung connection, the PIN was really long - should I create a long pin when I connect the iPhone? I only tried using 4 digits?

When you enter the same code on the PCM it says connected successfully but nothing has connected and it will not connect :-(

 

My iPhone6+ connected just fine. If I remember right, there may be an issue with which side starts the pairing-exchange - you may have to start it from the phone, or start it from the PCM.. I forget which. And you may need a retry if it doesn't work at first. You also need to be sure the phone is in 'discoverable mode'.. that may time out before you get ot the PCM menu that controlls the bluetooth pairing operations. Too many ways to screw up the process, but it is doable.

 

start it from the car, if you try on the phone side it'll hang and give up.
