Quiet aftermarket vs used stock

Hello, 2007 C4S Coupe with Tip and Sports Chrono here. Bought in 2013 with 26,000 miles, bone stock except the previous owner had replaced the headers and put in Tubi Style exhausts. Well, 2 years and 25,000 miles later, I've had enough of these exhausts: way too noisy for my taste, and attract too much attention (I prefer understated).

Would like to put back the stock 997.1 C4S exhaust (as for the headers, don't care one way or another, though suspect I might need the stock headers to fit the rest, but would be happy to let sleeping dogs lie). Will then sell the Tubis. Where can I get used stock exhaust --- reputable second hand source or dismantler? Preferably with some warranty. Of course I can always go to the dealer and drop a new one, but would like to explore the options.

The only alternative to stock that I am considering would be some setup that is quieter than stock, but as of now I prefer stock.

Thank you for any suggestion.

Check the marketplace here and on Rennlist http://rennlist.com/forums/marketplace/parts/search/

You'll come out way ahead on this swap since most go the exact opposite direction. I sold a set of stock mufflers a few years ago for $250. Thrilled to get anything at all since I didn't think there was a market for them but some guys buy a set to do the gundo hack but want to keep the stock mufflers in case they don't like the hack. Your Tubi system should bring a minimum of $1,000 and will be very easy to sell. They're about $2,500 new for .1 997's as I recall it.
