New EVOMSit tuning for 997

Hi guys -
Just wanted to share what our pals at EVOMS sent us this week. We have been using EVOMSit software exclusively since 2007 for all our tuning projects and customer cars and this is the first time they've reduced the pricing on any of the products.

The new price for custom 997 naturally aspirated tuning is $895 for 2005-2008 cars and $995 for 2009+ 997.2 cars. We are able to flash ECUs the same day they are sent to us so if you'd like an easy ~12 HP you can send it in. We can also remap throttle for better response and tune for different octanes, elevations and some aftermarket parts.

We developed the 997.2 tune on our own Carrera S and have had many happy customers with this and the 997.1 tunes on their Carrera / S / etc.

You can bring us the ECU in person or contact us about sending it in (info@sharkwerks.com / 510-651-0300). Here is a guide showing how to remove the ECU from your hardtop or cabriolet .

Return shipping price would depend on quick you'd like it back (roughly $65 for next day air in the USA).

Just curious would you need to do a tune/flash if you install a plenum and a gt3 TB on a 3.8S carrera?

Well it's not as if these cars "need" a tune per se It's just a question of whether or not you want an additional 12-15hp

Does your car have bolt-on parts on the intake and exhaust side? It does smooth out a couple of dips/low spots that are noticeable in transient conditions on modified cars. From memory, one was around 2500rpm and one was around 4000rpm. ROW ECUs are not a problem, we've done a bunch of them over the years.
