What To Know About Doing Track Days?

So I haven't really done track days properly before, mainly driving around private land and practicing kicking the car out and trying to correct and sustain the drift.

I haven't done that on my Porsche yet.

So what do I need to know about starting up track days?

Do I get an oil change before or after or both on a trackday, any other tyres recommended?

Do I need to install any safety features that clubsport has?

Anything I should get done to the engine?

What can I expect in terms of understeer, what part of an apex is it known to understeer?

2007 Carrera Non S.

Cheers
