Hi All,

I am new to this forum and just wanted to say hi and add a few pics of my 997 that is getting work done by Dave Esposito the owner/operator of Butzi Gear Porsche in Milford CT. We have fitted KW V3's suspension, 19in Rugers and refinished the calipers in OEM acid green. This week it gets an ECU tune, Dansk headers, Fabspeed cat deletes and a Sport muffler...... All should add to the performance and sound. Looks like a totally different car. How does the cat removal work where you live? You don't smog your car? No laws there about removal of cats?

 

The transformation of Dave's car was quite amazing. The handling characteristics and aesthetics really kicked his 997 up a few notches. After some comprehensive suspension tuning the car drives absolutely awesome and handles as a proper Porsche should. Cars in this area are subject to OBD2 based emissions testing. As long as the car is tuned properly, readiness is set and there are no CEL lights - emission checks are not a problem.
