thank you Darren for the pics.
the car is shameful, though. What are they doing?
I GUESS once you take the front clip off, but I am just not feeling it. At all.
Everybody will still buy it though.
gonna be fast, no?

More interesting than the pics, the 997 turbo will utilize variable pitch turbo blades to better control boost. Porsche likely uses different terminology. This has been used on turbo diesels for about 10 years, but will be a first for gasoline autos.
i honestly don't think it is all that bad... a 996TT stock looks like **** may i say with those tear drop headlights... but thats just my 0.02... i love the signal lights and fog lights IMO... and the rear end looks aggresive... this car looks much better in fit and finish and i have no doubt in its performance... i really trust PORSCHE... i don't think those Germans are dumb... they won't dissapoint up...
The front clip looks like a face lifted C2 with fog light eyes on the sides. I hope those fog lights gets deleted and they make a more pronounced front end.
The rear looks ok but the pipes in the bumper doesn't convey power.
Overall the car looks very disappointing. A 997 S with some cut out rear bumper slates does it fine for me. Why does Porsche insist on fog lights that are useless since xenon comes standard?

Initial impression of the pics..........meh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not impressed at all but then again I didnt really think the 996TT was an improvment "lookswise" over the 993TT. But I still got one after some "getting used to time" passed. Perhaps better pics or real life looks will convince me. But so far I'm glad that I still have my 996TT. Either way I really dont think I'll be buying another P car ever. I might keep my TT for sentimental reasons but my next check will most likely write pay to the order of "Ferrari".
