I think it looks alright.. Not great and not terrible.
But if they would've ditched the foglights and the ledlight-wing in the front, put the exhausts under the bumber ala 996 then it would've looked good!!

But! I think it doesn't look like a 911 Turbo. It looks to......kind and......nice. Shouldn't you know when a 911TT is coming down the road? This looks like a Porsche... and that's it.
A bit boring if you ask me.

so true, the more I see the rear bumper the more it grows on me.

Most cars have to grow on me, the new BMW's definately did. Hell the 996 took some time

I'm hoping nobody likes it so my place in line is shorter! The only thing I don't like is how the exhaust pipes fit into the rear bumper. I'm hoping that changes.

Well I guess the same thing goes for the 996TT but if you look at the older turbos, this looks a bit tame compared to the carrera imo.
Put a 997S with the aerokit and this next to eachother and ask 50 people which one is the Turbo.
I think the S would get at least 20 votes...

I wonder how 4 round tips would look like instead of the ugly oval one.....

I'm slowly warming up to it....but, it will take more time. When the 993TT came out, it was a hit from minute one. I must say...when the 996TT came out, it too was recieved very warmly. I can't say that for this design though. The car just looks too messy. It's design has a very Japanese touch to it. The pure and simple...timeless lines of the previous turbos are gone. The 959 was the pinical of pure and simple yet very, very appealing to the eye. It's a timeless design that is still an object of desire. I can't say that about this car. Will it grow on me/us? Probably yes....but, so did the Ferrari Testarossa. These days, some clean 328's command more money than the TR. The lines did not stand the test of time or the appeal to own one. Though not as extreme as this example, I must say I'm not running to the dealer to put a deposit on the 997TT. The car just doesn't reach out and grab you. My sights have been moved to the upcoming GT3.

i think it ruins it.The 996tt made a good job of what really was an ugly disproportionate car,the 997 is good looking car..the trubo additions ruin it.
