Key fob extra?
My 997 keys came with this small additional fob. No mention in the manual. It does say low battery on it, so is the a monitor of the battery in the main key? Or something else? Thanks.

You just need to open it up and replace the battery. It's a "Lojack key pass!"Easy job! I've done it to both my Lojack key passes!

So I guess I have lo-jack. Did not know that. I didn't get any documentation with my car except owners manual.


Do you know if Lojack will change the registered owner, so if it stolen, I will get notified?

Did you purchase through a dealer or no? All you would have to do is contact Lojack!

Exactly. If you call them and give them your VIN they should be able to locate and update the records for you.
