I asked this question in the Cayenne 955/957 forum but no luck so far, so I'm trying it here as it pertains to PCM and not the vehicle per se.

I'm back in a Porsche after moving to France. Bought a 2007 (08 model) Cayenne TT which comes with the PCM 2.1.

The NAV speaks French (which is fine for me but not for my wife), so I start looking inside the manual.

It talks about how to change the language on the center screen on the dash (which is now back to English), but nowhere does it indicate how to change the language on the PCM (or the Nav voice).

Any ideas or tips would be gratefully accepted.

 

My car came with a separate manual just for the navi.

 

From a PCM 2 PDF I found - not sure if it is the same as 2.1.


Main->Set->Language. Sounds like you will need a NAV CD too.

 

Thanks, I think the 2.1 might be DVD based but my understanding is that there has to be a disk in the drive for it to work. The Nav works but only in French. I'll try again.

Go to MAIN screen and click SET button, which brings up the language selection option.
