997 Sport Design 19s - fair asking?

I just replaced the wheels on my 997 C2S and have a set of OEM Sport Designs. These will perfectly fit a narrow body 997 and are in very good shape. There is a very small amount of curbing on 2 wheels and a couple of light scratches on 2 wheels, but they look great on the car as is (and I am picky). My car had 40k on it when these were pulled last month. No bends or damage. Of course, they could easily be refinished to the same or a new color, or touched up, if someone wanted them as good as new. These wheels aren't very common and look great on all color 997s. Center caps are OEM black nd silver. I would appreciate insights on a fair asking price.

Probably in the range of $1000 for the set.

$1,000-$1,250 depending on condition. You can probably sell genuine caps for $75-$100 and they won't add that to the sale price of the wheels.

It's hard to say what the value of these wheels might be. I would agree with the $1,000 - $1,250 range for wheels without significant blemishes. For wheels with curbing and some scratches, I personally wouldn't pay more than $750. Once you get over $1,000, you begin to compete with new aftermarket wheels. The aftermarket wheels are not high quality in that price range, but they are brand new. Many prospective buyers will opt for the new wheels.

I just sold my set for $800 on Craigslist (asking was $1,000) for 19" off a 2006 C4S (where the rear is 305). It went pretty fast in SoCal (Orange County) about 2 days. I still have people asking for it because I wasn't sure how to delete it from CL.

The wheels had very BAD curb rashes (1 was about 10%, 2 were about 35% and 1 was 60% around the wheel). Front tires were at 25% and rear tires were at 0% (not usable)
