Gundo hack hurt value?

Hey guys, I am seriously contemplating a gundo hack on my 997.1 S
right now it has no modifications whatsoever, its very very clean and I am thinking down the line if I ever sell it, will the gundo hack be a problem to a potential buyer?

An easy solution would be to buy a set of stock cans and get them modified. Then when you are ready to sell the car, just swap and sell the gundo hacked cans.

Agree with Sleek996. My 997.2 was hacked when traded in to the Porsche dealership by the previous owner (I saw it when the previous owner dropped it off, before it was cleaned up or reconditioned). They brought it back to stock before they could CPO it and sell it to me. Not a big deal.

Doubt it would hurt the value. Dealer may catch it to CPO but private buyer would love it. There is always that one person who would love it stock and not have it. I wasn't worried about resale or value myself when I did it. Wasn't planning on selling it.

Now if a Turbo is in the cards down the road, SOLD. I doubt I would have too much trouble selling mine. I hope.

Good question - agree with RaidersR1 above - there is always someone that might object. In most cases, I doubt it would even come up. But someone with a true stock mentality would certainly bring it up.

Ive thought about this too.... I decided to keep my stock cans, and im glad I did... ill be selling my FD motorsports ceramic gundo hacked cans, and going back to stock soon.

ive got Cargraphic Cats, and get quite a bit of sound volume out of those, I feel stock cans will tame the sound down for long road trips.

IMO, just the Gindo cans alone would not get any complaints, or even an eye batted over the tame noise compared to stock. Add cats, and its an entirely different story.

On the other hand, im tempted not to sell my ceramic coated Fister modded cans in case I want to interchange them with the seasons.

will not effect value IMO.
