Michelin PSS Front, Sport Cup Rear?

are these ok to mixed or sidewall stiffness is too great of a different and should be avoid.

I've always been told not to mix them because of the tread pattern differences as well. Normal street driving may not be a huge deal, but anything at speed might cause issues.

yeah i think it is not good idea. Just curious because there is a new pair of Sport Cup local in Dallas at darn good price.

You could always pick those up, then get a set of fronts when you SS's are shot.

LOL! that would take 10 yrs.

bought a new 305s on ebay last night, one more to go.

Decided not go with 325s, probably too big for 11.5" wheel. Plus I just pickup another set of 19" wheels so 305s fits all just in case...Turbo

Tread pattern is the least of his worries here, tread compound (80 vs 300) difference will adversely affect traction and handling much more. Just save your MSS set for daily and use the new COMPLETE set of Sport Cup for autoX instead, no mixing. Also, the Sport Cup will wear out in no time on tread compound rating of 80.
