Hey all...still searching for my 1st Porsche. I have decided on a 997..has to be a Cab..S..there are lots out there. Just being picky. How many of you like the crest on the headrests? My fav colours are Midnight Blue Metallic..or black. What are you fav interior colors with blue or black exterior? Just looking for opinions for you Porsche owners. Thanks.

 

Crest on the headrest is great, but really not a deal breaker for me. Black is amazing but popular (thats what i have) The options i really can't do without are Full Leather, sports seats plus, BOSE & Chrono sports pkg.

 

I have an 08 Carrera S Cab in midnight blue with the metropol blue top and sand beige interior and love it. I have seen the same car with a black top and it does no justice to the blue. Same with black interior, dulls the color, IMHO! I have had black and always all black, in and out. My 993 was black with cashmere, tan, interior and I changed the interior to black.

 

Crest in headrest is a must for me. It was like a $385 option when ordering.... anyone who didn't...I wonder about them. just a nice extra touch.

The tan in some of the earlier 997.1 cars had a bit too much orange in it.... also looks horrid when dirty. I will admit, I do think the tan looks sharp with the blue paint.


Some of the options I must have were...


Sport adaptive seats.... Sport chrono.... 6 speed manual. NO drilled front plate if buying used !!!
