Split engine lid: is it a real part?

I have not found any other pic of that strange split lid for 997. All other 997 speedster pics never show such split lid but the standard one.
Any idea where it is coming from?

I know the 993 Carrera S came with the split rear wing. I googled "Porsche factory split rear wing" and there were plenty of pics. Probably aftermarket.

The split I found are all for 993. None for 997.
