PASM & Drive Off Assistant Error - Durametric Not connecting
SubscribeReceived a rental Durametric unit off eBay, but having some issues. I have a 997.2 C2S and the unit will not connect to the car. The green light never turns on, instead only the red LED flashes.
I've followed the printed steps including using two different windows laptops, reinstalling drivers and software several times, as well as even trying the 5.xxx version with no success.
Incidentally, it did allow me do a 'short test' - but not access any of the modules and say that it's not connected.
This has been entirely frustrating. Continuing to read up on PASM/Drive Assist errors, many indicated that a low battery could be at fault. Since it is winter and the car is used frequently, I decided to replace it just to remove that from the list of possible culprits.
No luck.
Right now, C156 (PASM), 5410 (Drive assist) & 4444 (Steering angle sensor) are the codes I'm battling with per what I was able to capture below. As you can see, the light on the durametric still flashes red.
I'm willing to buy a new steering angle sensor, but not entirely sure that will help. I've already tried resetting ("teaching") it - but no luck.
Any help?
