Should I trade on for Aston Martin DB9?

Ive been driving a 911 for the past 7 years. Started with a 996 cabrio and then traded in for a 997.1 s cabrio stick shift. My car is getting tired and has some issues for example, the rear spoiler doesnt go up and when I pass 75 mph, the dash beeps to remind me of the spoiler failure. The windows now have a mind of their own and sometimes they go up and down when I press the switches and sometimes they do not. I'm sure all can be fixed, but I'm thinking of a change.

thats my long winded story to end with this, I am considering crossing over and seriously looking at a 2006 AM db9 cabrio. It's automatic. But seems like a good upgrade. Would this group agree or insist that it is a mistake?

Drive the car and see if it feels good for you. You'll know if it's a good decision or not.

Although, from a WOW aspect, the Astons command more than a 911 does. Their glass keys alone are super sexy.

I have heard the same . . . but the earlier advice of driving one and deciding what is best for you is the the right answer . . . KH

Drive one. I drove an '08 coupe Sports Pack last year; found some things I loved and some things to be lacking, namely the exhaust note and the automatic transaxle's responsiveness. If you can find one with the manual it would be much better, I'm sure. I love the car and still want one, but I wasn't ready to part with my 911 after the test drive.

I dont think you will like the Aston as much as you do the 911. A few months ago i was determined to get a new Jaguar F-Type S coupe since they look and sound so sexy, I was trying to sell my 911 and THANKFULLY i was able to test drive an F-Type S for 24 hours and sure enough, i even took it back early...it was crazy, the 2016 F Type couldn't give me the same overall satisfaction & feel of being a "Driver" as an 11 yr old 911 S...

Spend the money and get those minor annoyances fixed. Then give it a full detail.

I'm always happy with my current car after giving it some TLC. Give the Porsche the attention it deserves.

Your right sneth. Thank you and others for keeping my head starlight here. Will c lean the car up a bit and have it ready for another spring and summer season. Any one have a good recommendation for a mechanic in Brooklyn ny that can handle the spoiler failure and window mechanisms?

Separately, anyone know a good leather guy in my area to clean up my seats and shifter a bit?

If you are so uncertain that you need to ask a forum like this for advice then my answer would be no.

I used to think the Aston Martin had a beautiful front then I started seeing the Ford Fusion or whatever Ford it is at the car rental places. I feel sorry for any Aston Martin owners. Nice looking Ford my friend LOL
