Thrill Ride

Here is a question for anyone living on the east coast of the USA.
Has anyone heard of Highway #129 in Tennessee. This highway is also known as "TAIL OF THE DRAGON"
It is supposed to be an 11 - 15 mile stretch of highway that will thrill you with almost 200 twists and turns.
Sounds like it was made for us Porsche drivers!

Live in Atlanta, been there done that. While the Tail does offer a considerable number of twisties and turns, too slow a go for my taste. The Tail is more about saying that you have been there. I prefer the country roads in the North GA and Chattahoochee National Forest areas better. At least on those roads you can air the car out once in a while on some nice stretches.

I did look at their web site and the speed limit has now been dropped to only 40 mph.
I kinda sorta have to go past there on my way back from Florida to Canada, so we may make the detour and then I too will be able to say "Bin there, Done that."
