I have had the right bank catalytic converter replaced under the Porsche 80/month Warranty. The error codes pointed to the o2 sensors but the Cat was the fault. Then the Tech had to replace the o2's as well.

QUESTIONS : a) how many 997 owners have had an issue?
b) should Porsche have replaced both Cats?

Background: 2009 c4s w/ 34,900 miles, last passed NY inspection a year ago with error codes showing but still passed (34,200); original owner.
