bought myself some h7 LEDs to convert my halogen lamp into LEDs. Unfortunately, upon opening the headlight housing the space is way too small to accommodate the led bulb with the cooling fan. Has anybody been successful in converting this h7 halogen into led???

 

The H7 is the headlight bulb right?

 

I am interested in doing this as well. Has anyone else gotten this to work?

We are just replacing the bulb with an LED bulb, hopefully to improve brightness. Perhaps a product like https://www.carid.com/2008-porsche-9...323918888.html

Yea. I also have my led h7’s sitting in my garage. The base was too fat to close the cover.

 

Not sure if they'll meet your needs but VLEDS lists the dimensions of their led bulbs.
