I am sure the calipers are made by Brembo, but how about the rotor? Is ceramic composite (PCCB) the same as the carbon disk made by Brembo for Ferrari's? Is it just different marketing language or is there another company making ceramics for porsche?

They are all made by Brembo. The PCCB are a little smaller than those on the Ferraris.

All Porsche calipers are made by Brembo, the ceramic composite rotors are made by Porsche GmbH.

You are correct that Brembo does not make the disks. Porsche does makes these in collaboration with a specialty firm: http://www.sae.org/automag/techbriefs_11-00/techbriefs_11-00.pdf#search='Porsche%20Carbon%20Ceramic%20Brakes '

Shouldn't you be golfing! LOL. I saw Monty at sushi on Friday...we talked about your "blue special edition", as he called it.

Good information. I see you are quickly becoming a Porsche fanatic. Are you coming out Saturday to Carlsbad?
