I doubt many of you are familiar with Indiana but there a very few porsche dealerships around and I just saw one parked out in front of the main bulding of my school in Terre Haute, IN. I realize this sounds pretty boring to most of you but IN??? who would drive a porsche around indiana?

When I lived in Bloomington (about 1984-89) there was a Porsche dealer on the South side of town.

The weather here isn't very conducive to owning P-cars and the such.

I grew up in Valparaiso, there were probably two 911s in town...

On the other hand, there are a ton of Cayennes in NW Indiana. Probably weather related... <g>

I see 911's and Cayennes all the time up here. We don't just drive trucks and tractors y'know. The more we become a suburb of Chicago, the more I see.

Maybe i don't understand the thread.
I thought he was surprised to see a Porsche dealership there.
I only said Chevy and Ford cuz I thought being in midwest close to Michigan - people would drive american car (being patriotic and all).
It was just a question, not anything negative.
I like American cars, the new mustang/corvettes are exellent choice.
The 300c and the Hemis are kick *** as well.

So yeah, I can't say it took me 15 years to buy it and don't understand what's the importance to that either. If you like car for a specific reason then that is sufficient.
