DIY: 997 Black Headlight Mod (YouTube content inside)

I don't believe I've posted anything on here about my headlight mod project I completed over the winter on my 2007 997.1TT, but I received quite a bit of positive feedback on the FaceBook forums about it, many individuals requesting a DIY video or how-to of some sort. It's taken me a while to get around to editing and uploading, but here it is. I hope this video helps out the community.

I ask that if you enjoyed the video and found it helpful, please subscribe to my channel and click the like button. I am trying to grow my channel to 1000 subscribers by the beginning of summer. It only takes a second and you would be helping me out greatly!

Thanks for posting!

Do you think it would be beneficial if you were to put the headlight in the oven with the new seal to get it nice and soft and then push again on the lens ?

I do, and I would in fact encourage it. My headlights didn't get sealed well enough, and when I wash the car (or it rains, or a large amount of water flows over the headlights) they fog up slightly inside. Needless to say, I am going to have to pull mine out and redo the sealant.

Live and learn. It pays to make sure it's done right the first time, and I suspect doing what you said will help.
