Started the car the other day and there appears to be a "splotch" of red or yellow color obscuring the MPH indicator. Have alook at this pic I took. Anyone have a similar situation? Thoughts? Recommendations?

Never saw or heard of anything like it. Does it come back on if you shut the engine down and start it back up?
The splotch/bleb on VERY close inspection appears to be digital (pixalated) on a layer behind the speedometer digits. It appeared out of nowhere a week ago and is always there in the same configuration regardless of how many times the car is turned on and off. Anybody have any thoughts?
Mine was caused by moisture/humidity. When the weather warmed up I left it out in the heat and it eventually went back to normal. Maybe you'll get lucky.... GL!
