Any Tubi muffler owners? Surprised to find I have Tubi muffler style on my 997.1 c2s

I was super surprised to find out over the weekend that my 997.1 c2s came with a Tubi exhaust as I was cleaning the under side panel and saw Tubi style written on exhaust, all along I thought it was oem since the PPI never mentioned it or the previous owner I bought it from. I always thought it was oem set up and that’s how a stock set sounded like since it sounded very mellow when starting and I rarely drive it pass 4K rpm. I guess from reading the Tubi comes alive pass 4K rpm, anyone with Tubi exhaust can confirm and hear your opinions. Anyway just surprised and happy with the set up, how much are these Tubi anyway?

Same exact thing happened to me when I bought my -06 C4S. No mention of after market mufflers either by the PPI or the seller of the car. Found out the same way you did while cleaning the car and saw the Tubi brand on the mufflers. Best exhaust for the 997.1 imo. It's been a while since I had that car so can't remember exactly how it functioned but I don't think you need to get above 4,000 rpm to wake it up. I seem to recall that it starts to grunt around 3,000 and then just grows louder. Louder in a good way though.

Remember driving it home from Ft. Lauderdale on I 75. A 996 snuck up behind me and stayed there. Had to stop for gas and he followed me. As he stepped out of his car his first words were...."what the hell kind of exhaust is on your car? Sounds like a damn B-52". Stock as far as I know I answered. He just shook his head with a "no way".

You'll keep loving it. Nothing else like it. On my third 997 now and same thrill every time I get in the car.

Yep, I've got the Tubi on my 997.1 C2S as well. I've never heard it from the outside so I never know how good it sounds but It's pretty quiet until about 3500 rpm. I added the Fabspeed Competition Intake as well and now I hear more intake noise than I do exhaust... Not a bad thing.
