OEM 997.2 Tail light condensation?

I have a “new to me” 997.2 (2012 Black edition) with the OEM clear LED tail lights. One has some significant condensation in it. The dealer that I picked the car up from stated that this was “Normal”.

Does this sound right to anyone? The car is still under CPO and I can find another dealer locally to press if this can be a CPO item to fix.

Thoughts?

Condensation in tail lights is a known delinquent in a lot of cars. Here's a video of a fix to 996 tail lights..

Doesn't sound normal to me. On my second 997.2 and this is news to me. Never saw it on either one of mine and I don't think I've heard about it before. 43,000 miles on the -09 and currently 66,000 miles on the GTS. Find another dealer.

I think I found the issue. The lens is actually two pieces. One in the center, surrounded by the rest of the lease. The join between the center piece and the rest of the lens is loose on the affected light allowing water to get in. I am in discussions with Porsche on this as a defect. We will see how it goes.
