gt3 seat and airbag light

i'm putting gt3 seats in my 997s and want to avoid the airbag warning light coming on because of the airbag in the stock seats (and not because the seat belt plug).
any ideas on how to avoid that without needing to go to the delaer to reset the warning light?

thanks for the response but that would not prevent the light from coming on in a 997 because the airbag in the seat will be missing.

You could always get it tuned out.

I am interested on the price of the seats and brackets. Where did you get them?

You could put a small 1-3 ohm resistor in the connector. Then it will think that the air bag is there. Just a thought...would it work?

thanks audiguy.

fooling the system with a ficticious load (resisitor) would work. you can measure the impedance at the airbag connector and find out the value of resistor that would be needed.
