Hi, first post here. I have owned my 997.1 C4 for a month now and decided my first project would be the Numeric shifter cable and shifter upgrade. When under the car, I noted a fair amount of oil on the transmission mount (1 on attached photo). It seems to be coming from the front output shaft/driveshaft (2 in attached photo).

Is this a common place for a leak? Can anyone comment on the ease of diy for the output shaft seal? I’m having a hard time finding any information or even the parts. Thanks!
