Purchase of 2008 997 with 4.0 Upgrade from Turn 3
Hello,
I'm looking at purchasing a 2008 997 4s, with 57,000 kms. The car has gone through a 4.0 L stroker engine rebuild, just over $40,000 in receipts. New clutch as well, all work was completed in 2019 and done at Turn3 in Langley, B.C.
Recently had a 2007 997 CS checked out before potentially purchasing, showed signs of bore scoring. Very low KM's, 45,000. Looks like this is becoming more common with the 997.1's??
Any thoughts?
