997 Headliner Removal Assistance

Can anyone explain how to detach the rear of the 997 headliner from the frame? I have all of the headliner detached from the front and sides, but cannot figure out how the rear end of the headliner is attached. Any advice and or pics are most welcomed.

Hello Hans,
The PDF you referenced was extremely helpful to remove the headliner. Thank you, again.
I have a related question that I hope you can help with as well. There are two 4 pin connectors that plug into the garage door opener switches in the overhead console. One is yellow and one is black, both are 4 pin. They were somewhat destroyed when I attempted to unplug them from the switches. My local Porsche dealer says they have nothing in their system and furthermore mentioned that they were probably sourced by VW, Audi, or MB. Sure enough, when I looked at the connector, their is MB stamp on it, but fortunately, the number is not completely readable. I went to the MB dealer but without knowing which MB vehicle it came from, he. Could not help.

Can you help or point me in the right direction.
Thank you,
Paul

This is the yellow tab that broke off from the back of the yellow connector

This is the tab on the back of the black connector that Brock off. Notice the MB stamp.

Hi Paul

I am not quite sure but if you know the cable harness number Porsche Center must be able to order the connectors.

Manufacturer of both your connectors is TE Connectivity (former Amphenol). How to order them I don't know

This is the black one in my 997

I also found a datasheet
The yellow one is obsolete

Thank you Hans. The pdf will be very useful to track the part number.
