The problem with GT silver is that it is the most expensive of the Porsche colors next to paint to sample. The only GT silver 997S cabs that I found when I was looking for mine were loaded to the hilt with a lot of extra stuff and pretty much had stickers north of $120 up to about $130 on one of them with a lot of exclusive options. A lot of money considering the base price of a cab and you always lose money on options when you sell these cars. My car was $105,500 and I thought it was on the higher end considering most cabs had stickers in the mid $90's. You might be able to score a discount on such a heavily loaded car but if your dad is willing to pay that kind of money for a car that must be GT silver, why is a discount or depreciation even an issue. It sounds to me that he is wanting to purchase a white elephant. A car that only a few people want. A car that is in such limited supply that he will have to pay a premium to get it if he is so determined to get that color. GT silver does not grow on trees that's for sure.

Good luck on your search.

Is that GT silver? If it is, there is something wrong because the base price + GT silver option is the price of that car. That means that it is completely stripped of options which is rare for a GT silver car.
