do you need a new clutch if you get the supercharger and it so how much will it cost??? thanks

It all depends on how much boost you plan on running because the stock clutch can only take so much. For low boost applications, you should be OK with the stock clutch but if you are planning on making serious power, you definately would need a new clutch.

Im sure one of the sponsors can chime in on prices and some more info..

A new clutch would be good for a supercharged 997.

You can get a nice street clutch and light flywheel for around $3K

I bought my sports clutch / lightweight flywheel through FVD - only $2K for both shipped... You will notice the improvement over stock.
