after seeing mexicoblue's 997 and loving the color.

has anyone else on here done the paint to sample option for $4,315 on their 997..
i was uber tempted to order another but.... i have a lack of colors in my brain to think thru.. (a nice purple would be very nice)

do you have a custom color? MEXICOBLUE you better post some pics :-D

Saw photos of a PURE ORANGE 997S a while back. I believe he was in the UK.

If you can't think of a color that you'd want to order, visit other car forums and see the pictures. You might like a shade of Blue, or any other color, that's not available but could be done through the "paint per sample" program.

 

Ive heard you can select older porsche colours such as Polar silver from the 993 etc, I would like to see a 911 in Fayence Yellow from the Carrera Gt

 

i might special order A 997s ...then i will be 100%sure for a color of piant to sample..
my GF likes pink..anyone seen a pink color?wow..
i love riveria blue..close to the color of mexico blue..
i ALSO love orange..however that orange is not what iam really looking for..
i have concernS about paint to sample...if there is a color you never seen,then no one can promise how it will look like on a actual 997.....

1. Rosso Scuderia (Marlboro Red) [factory paint-to-sample /dealer inventory car Naples,FL)
2. Polar Silver [factory paint-to-sample]
3. Orient Red [factory paint-to-sample]
4, 5... gotta give 'em credit for originality

 

I found the owner of that last one.

 

Actually, PINK SHOE is a factory Porsche color now..
