how much should i expect to pay for a c4s cab in the ny/nj area? or maybe its easier if someone knows the typical discount off MSRP?

Depends on how good your negotiating skills are and how many cars are on the lot. I would insist on a minimum $6500 off sticker for that model. Depending on options, the mark-up is going to be in the $12-15k range.

If you buy it in the early winter in NY you can get a much better deal for one of these that is on the lot since not many people will be looking to get one at that time of the year.

If you order, you will usually pay more than one on the lot since the dealer is paying to keep that car there.
