Dude it was merely a photoshopped idea that I posted for no reason other than to get an opinion. I didn't necessarily like it but I thought it was worth posting to throw around ideas, nothing more.

LOL i do it for myself, that is my taste and i did not put down yours per se, just said i am not a fan of your color combo, and questioned how could you ever even think of doing that, on a Porsche let alone any car.

BTW it flowed with my car, its not a black fin, its a CF GT2 wing and they offer it that way from the factory. I dont remember seeing porsche offer Mustard yellow Carrera emblems, chrome wheels or red JDM looking seats ?

 

a lot of times I like to post contriversial stuff just so i can see how people react. It always amazes me how people love to do the group mentality like a pack of wolves. Someone will post a scathing reply in hoped to get the others to follow suit becasue they have an inate need to make friends, whether in real life or on line.

well again, porsche did offer chrome twists on the 993 turbo as a $3000 option.

The red seats are recaro and are offered by Gemballa for 7K as an aftermarket choice. Recaros have been standard for Porsche for decades. The yellow emblem, well we covered that....

Most importantly, lets not get into the mindset that if Porsche didnt do it, it's wrong...thats a whole new topic

Listen man you drive a 997 Porsche, great color combo, not a fan of chrome but not the end of the world and not too bad looking, seats arent bad either and Recaro of course is a great aftermarket/oem seat maker, no complaints there! Bottom line, enjoy your car, do what you want to do with it and dont be bothered by people's comments, and if you are bothered, do not make thread's and posts asking for opinions if you cannot handle them
