Has anyone had this problem? The display says "cd ejecting" but nothing comes out and it automatically switches to the radio. When I touch the "cd" button it will either play the cd or will say "cd player: no cd". WTF?

 

I don't know about porsche but in my MINI everytime this happens I turn off everything, turn the key without starting the engine, then turn on the stereo and press and hold the eject button for a few seconds (5-10).

I don't know if it'll work with porsche... try it!

I had the same exact problem. It never fixed itself. Once in a while the cd would eject but subsequent attempts to play a cd would fail and result in the same issue of either not ejecting or not reading the cd. I had the entire PCM replaced under warranty. Sorry bro.

 

me too. 2nd PCM on warranty.

 

In my cayenne sometimes i press CD and it displays "STOP" .... nothing works until after i turn the car off and on ....

 

Bring it in for service and they will replace the PCM. Also say goodbye to your CD.

 

the cd finally ejected today.... weird
