997 face lift.
I remember reading in Excellence about 2 years ago that the 997 was really a transitional car and was going to be a short run to the 998. I don't believe the 998 will have much difference mechanically. On the Cab, anyone notice the covered up area between the tailights, looks like they may be bringing back the reflector ala 993 C4S? I don't mind the new changes, but they still didn't address the only thing that I think is ugly about the 997 which is the akward slanted seam between the rear bumper and the quarter panels.

This goes back to my old old thread about Porsche marketing and what a scam they are...this is total BS, they are all about the $...I feel sorry for all who just got the 997...dont worry 2007 Q# the 999 will be out...this is why Porshce dont hold value and Ferrari does...
Then again this year next time I will be in a Cay Turbo

These stupid mini changes are getting ridiculous. Time for a total re-design.
Its any wonder Porsche is the most profitable car company in the world. They use the same damn parts for every car

I had planned to order an '07 997 S, but given this new development, or more correctly potential new development, I'm going to wait and see.
Now I'm thinking maybe a low mileage 996 TT as a backup plan - I still love that car even if the 997 TT is making it obsolete, not wild about the 997 TT's styling. And need a backseat for the baby seat, so any GT3 is unfortunately a no-go for me.
