because the factory front and rear bumpers on the standard 996/997's are very plain compared to what comes on the GT3, GT2, and turbos. It's just a more agressive look. Besides, not everybody can afford a GT3 and bumpers are cheap. As long as he doesn't rebadge it, who cares?

I agree any aftermarket is better than the original carrera rear bumper. It's just not agressive enough. Plus, those with the aerokit (the Porsche one), aren't they better off with this bumper since that's what it's lack of.

As long as you do not put a fake badge on it it is totally ok IMO. If I put GT3 bumper and front even wheels and still keep the original badge that is not wannabe in my book.
